LUNCHTIME PINT IN CARTMEL

Went for a pint in Cartmel at lunchtime, it happened to be the day the Christmas lights are switched on. There was a Christmas Market with stalls and fast food. This being Cartmel and home to restauranteur Simon Rogan the usual burghers and hot dogs were replaced by duck ragout with chestnuts. It was nice to see Cartmel with a full compliment of pubs again, the two in the square having been closed and boarded up for several months. Your very good health.
